First, this article investigates and analyses the on the spot rulings given by the Three Referre Group and those by the Two Referrs Group, who refereed the CBA League Matches. Next, the article presents a comparative study of on the spot rulings governing the five league matches held during the match season of 2000～2001 and refereed by the Three Referee Group, and of those on the spot rulings governing the five matchs held in the match season of 1997～1998 and refereed by the Two Referee Group. Finally, it draws some conclusions based on the comparative study.
