In the home production model, agents substitute labor between home and market .The substitution improves performance interpreting real economy.If shocks to home productivity occur and these shocks are not perfectly correlated with shocks to market productivity ,labor supply will fluctuate as relative changes in home productivity change the mount people are willing to work in the market at a given wage, and this reduces the correlation between market productivity and hours.
