Combined with the engineering conditions of the hiqh grade highway and the settlement of the subgrade and pavement on the soft soil,the paper discusses the various causes of bridge beginning or end vehicle jump resulting from the form of the nonuniform settlement produced by the bridge approach.Some protection and treatment measures are presented.
