The paper puts forward security problems and basic security requirements of EC, on the basis of which it discusses relevant tactics as well as network security measures. It introduces the techniques of encryption in the security tactics of EC: symmetric algorithm and public key algorithm. It explores the essential technique of key management in security encryption. It studies the important digital signatures of EC. It presents the firewall\|technique which is one of the main techniques in network security. It expounds the concept and promulgation of digital certificates in the certifying technique of EC and poses the formation and function of the CA certifying center. Finally, it emphasizes that the security of EC must be treated as a security project to be constrcted.
