在新的历史条件下 ,中国共产党及其党员干部 ,面临着能否继续为人民群众所选择、能否正确处理人民内部矛盾问题和能否正确对待国家、集体、个人利益问题的严峻考验。因此 ,在迎接考验的过程中 ,我们必须牢牢把握加强同人民群众血肉联系这一党的建设的重大课题 ,必须充分认识加强同人民群众血肉联系的长期性、普遍性。

Under the new historical conditions, the Communist Party of China and its members and cadres are faced with severe tests of whether to be able to retain the choice of the people, to correctly handle the contradictions among the people and to adopt a correct attitude towards the personal interests and those of the collective and the state. Therefore, in the process facing up to these tests, it is imperative to have a precise grasp and a profound understanding of the protracted nature, universality, consciousness and regularity of maintaining the flesh and blood ties with the masses of the people.
