On the Historical Development and Current Fate of Our Country's Jury System

陪审制度是现代法治国家司法制度中的一个重要组成部分 ,是人类社会司法民主和司法公正的必然要求。我国陪审制度存在着缺陷与不足 ,为推动我国司法改革的进程 。

The jury system is a major part of a modern ruled-by-law country as well as a natural requirement for judicial democracy of the human society. This paper, through a study of the history and the current situation of our country's jury system, and through an analysis of its weak points, attempts to put forward some ideas for the reforming and perfecting of the system so as to promote the progress of our country's judicial reform.
