Spirulina,reputed as an excellent resource of nutrition in the future, is being payed attention to by many scientists. It not only has plenty of protein but also has eight kinds of amino acid which must be need by the human body. So there is very high value on development and application. The R & D on spirulina began in 1960s, and developed rapidly. Now over ten countries or regions research and produce spirulina in the world. Sales value is about over US(?) 200 billion. This essay introduced the processing technology, advantages and application on spirulina.
