Study on apolipoprotein E polymorphism distribution in old-aged People

目的：探讨ａｐｏＥ在老年人中的多态性分布规律。方法：用等电聚焦电泳和免疫印迹法检测了８２２例健康老年志愿者（６０～９６岁）的ａｐｏＥ基因表型及等位基因频率。结果：受检人群Ｅ２、Ｅ３、Ｅ４频率分别为６．３２％、８７．４１％、６．２７％。各年龄组间ａｐｏＥ基因表型频率与基因型频率分布有明显差异，随年龄增加Ｅ２频率增高， Ｅ４则下降。男女性别组间的频率分布差异无显著性。结论：ａｐｏＥ基因表型和等位基因频率与年龄有关，与性别无关，推测Ｅ２为长寿基因。

Objective:To investigate the apoE polymorphism di stribut ion in old aged population.Methods:Isoelectric focusing (IEF) a nd immunoblotting were used to detect the apoE phenotype and allogene frequency in 822 healthy old aged voluntecrs (60～96 years old).Results:The fre quencies of E2、 E3 and E4 were 6.32%、87.41% and 6.27% respectively.There was obvious difference in th e distribution of apoE gene phenotype frequency and allogene frenquency among al l age groups.E2 frenquency increased by age while E4 decreased.But ther e was little difference between male and female groups.Conclusion: The distribution of apoE phenotype and allogene frequency correlate to age ，but have no relation with sex.E2 is perhaps a gene of longevity.
