Conversion is an important type of word-formation in English.Although Chinese and English belong to two different language families respectively,noun-converted verbs are identified in both languages.This paper,by means of comparison and contrast,tries to make a description and analysis of the similarities and differences in semantic transference of noun-converted verbs between these two languages.
