According to the features of the military topography computer multi media teaching system, the paper analyzes the present state of contents and methods of military topography teaching, explains the design of the system and gives a description of the function, features and technologies in all units of the system. The system is an integration of the military topography teaching, including classroom teaching, electronic lesson planning, students' self study, exam management, web teaching, etc.The system, by the use of certain kinds of tool software, can accomplish the teaching task of military topography CAI.
