A Preliminary Study on Mud-Rock Flow in the Mountain Areas in the East Part of Liaoning Province

摘要 辽东山区是我国泥石流分布的重点地区之一。文章概述了该区泥石流的基本条件,提出该区特大暴雨是泥石流形成的触发条件;物理风化和断裂构造是形成泥石流松散固体物质的重要过程;岩性、植被条件对泥石流的影响比较突出。最后指出该区泥石流治理应以近期工程措施,远期森林植被等生物措施为主的治理原则。 The mountain area in the east part of Liaoning province is one of the prority areas with mud-rook flow distributed in China. This paper deals with the basic conditions of mud-rock flow in this region and suggests that the heavy rain is the main factor causing mud-rock flow formation in this region. Physical weathering and rift structure are the important process to form the loose solid materials in mud-rock flow. Rock properties and vegetation cover have an important effect upon mudrock flow. Finally, this paper points out that the engineering practices in the immediate future and the biological measures including forests and vegetation covers in the distance future are the principles of controlling mud-rock flow in the mountain areas in the east part of Liaoning province.
