在新民主主义革命和社会主义革命时期 ,毛泽东明确提出了“为人民服务”的思想 ,把全心全意为人民服务作为人生最高价值 ,成为我们党的唯一宗旨。在社会主义建设的新时期 ,邓小平和江泽民先后提出“特色理论”和“三个代表”的重要思想 ,给“为人民服务”思想注入了新的内涵 ,使这一思想的政治含义进一步深化。
