On the basis of analysis of constructional technique and equipments used in sinking the sand-f illed matlress and sand filled pillows in order to form a soft body dam, this paper provides the optimum parameters for the pulling force and velocity of a winch, A certain type of catamaran is recomraended by the authors, as it will be used as a simple work barge for loading the equipments and building the grouped dams.
