摘要
圆弧的快速生成问题是 CA D/CAM、CA GD等领域中一个重要的课题 ,不仅具有理论研究价值 ,而且有着广泛的应用。文章利用向量值连分式构造的参数有理函数快速、简便地表示平面及空间里过不在同一条直线上任意 3点的一段圆弧 ,并给出了它的圆心坐标及半径。与目前通用的从有理 Bézier曲线或 NURBS曲线出发 ,选择适当的权因子生成圆弧的方法相比 ,该文介绍的方法要简便得多。
The quick production of the circular arc is an important subject in CAD/CAM and CAGD. In this paper, a new method is presented for constructing a segment of circular arc in two or three dimension space by use of the vector valued continued fraction, and the center and radius of the circular arc are also given. Compared with the classical method for constructing circular arc, such as the rational Bézier curve or NURBS curve, the presented method is much quicker and simpler.
