Microsurgical treatment and approprate operative approach selection for craniopharygioma:Report of 119 cases

目的 :探讨适宜的手术入路以及显微外科技术应用对提高颅咽管瘤手术疗效的作用。方法 :对 119例颅咽管瘤临床资料分析。结果 :适宜手术入路并使用显微外科技术对颅咽管瘤行全切术较过去直视下手术能明显提高临床治愈率 ,降低肿瘤复发率和手术死亡率。结论

Objective:To evaluate the effect of appropriate operative approach and microsurgery for craniopharygioma.Methods:Clinical data of 119 cases of craniopharygioma presented in our hospital during a period from 1984 to 2000 were analysed retrospectively.Results:Selection of approprate operative approach and microsurgical theatment can improve the surgical curative effect,diminish mortality and cut down the recurrent rate.Conclusion:To use microsurgery and choose correct operative approach are the key points to remove the craniopharygioma smoothly.
