Components, principle, features and lab test results of ST 01 Sedimentation Analyzer are presented in this paper. Samples from three factories and one oilfield are determined, and the determinations show that the content of particle size smaller than 6 μm is an important factor for quality. The instrument is a powerful arm of developing API standard barite for its convenience and maximum parallel deviation that is less than 0 1% .
