历史街区保护与城市形象建设刍议

Discussion on Conservation of Historic Areas and Construction of City Image

中国从1982年开始颁布历史文化名城并提出保护,至今已三十余年。历史街区是城市形象的重要组成部分,在历史文化名城中尤为突出。随着城市化的快速变迁与全球化下的空间再结构,历史街区在城市形象建设中所扮演的角色也不断重设。从历史街区保护的角度切入,梳理相关保护理论概念的发展过程,批判性地讨论几种历史街区保护范型与城市形象建设的不同取向之间如何互动,由此形成差异化的保护实践成果。

It has been over 30 years since China began to nominate and conserve historic cities in 1982. Historic area is an important element in construction of city image, especially in those historic and cultural cities. Along with the impact of rapid urbanism and globalization, the role that the historic areas play in construction of city image changed from time to time. From the perspective of historic conserva- tion, this paper reviews the development of conservation concepts, discusses the different conservation results by exploring the relationship between conservation theories and construction of city image criti- cally.
