Under the background of the increasing proportion of registered students in higher vocational colleges, whether the main mode of graduation examination can match the characteristics of registered students has become the focus of higher vocational education reform.The paper expounds the characteristics of students under the mode, the thesis writing and the problems existing in students'graduation papers,and summarizes the reform types of graduation papers,and introduces in detail the contents and methods of the reform of the comprehensive ability examination for the graduates of the garden technology specialty in Lianyungang Technical College in order to provide a reference for the reform of the graduation examination mode for the students registered in the higher vocational colleges.
