The Code for Safe Evacuation o f Metro( G B/T 33668-2017) [1] was formally implemented on November1, 2017. Compared with the Code for Design of Metro(GB50157-2013)[2]and the Technical Code for Urban Rail Transit(GB50490-2009)[3],the calculation of safety evacuation under fire accident in public zone of station hall was increased, which is of great importance to the design of subway safety evacuation. It has guiding significance and practical value of the industry. However, most of the cities in the construction of subway lines have not included this specification in the project design standards, what is the reason for this situation? How does the implementation of the Code for Safe Evacuation of Metro affect the subway line? In this paper, Tianjin Binhai New Area Rail Transit Line B1 Phase I Project(hereinafter referred to as "Line B1")as an example to study the impact of Code for Safe Evacuation of Metro on the line under construction,to provide a reference for the implementation of the new subway line in the future.
