Logical analysis and intuitive experience are two main cognitive modes of human reasoning.The former is a kind of "light of reason",which can make the concealed property to become distinct and reveal the inherent law,while the latter is a kind of "net of experience",which can sift the global features of the cognitive objects from the sophisticated phenomenal world and obtain profound understanding.The "light of reason"exerts influence on scientific experiments,technical regulations and construction of society and promotes the formation and development of scientific culture,whereas "the net of experience"yields influence on intuitive perception, ideological cultivation and harmony of society and stimulates the formation and development of humanistic culture.The two cognitive modes and their relationship have different patterns in different cultural traditions and therefore have become the deep ideological root of many practical problems in society.In the era of globalization, the research on the two cognitive modes and their relationship presents new significance along with the deep understanding of modernity reflection and rapid development of artificial intelligence.It is of great importance to promote the harmonious complementarity of the "light of reason"and the "net of experience"for the cultivation of all-rounded innovative talents,coordination of the relationship between modernity and localization,and realization of integration of scientific culture and humanistic culture.
