With the development of economy,people's demand for electricity is increasing.In order to adapt to the demand for electricity in modern society,and also to build a resource-friendly society,it is particularly important to improve the power output efficiency of power plants.Based on the brief introduction of thermal power engineering,this paper focuses on the analysis of existing problems,solutions and applications of main performance of thermal power engineering in power plants, hoping to provide certain theoretical basis for the work of national power plants.
