Distribution network is an important part of urban development.Based on the background of vigorous development of smart grid in China,it is very important to strengthen the automation planning of medium and low voltage distribution network.This paper first analyzes the development background of distribution network automation,then discusses the principles and contents of distribution network automation planning,and finally discusses the planning countermeasures of distribution network automation around a case.
