论《易经》英译的“变译”问题

"变译"是近20年来深受翻译学界关注的翻译理论和方法,它强调翻译策略和方法要根据具体的情况来变化。在《易经》的翻译中,运用变易的原理,采用"变译"的方法,可以有效地在译入语中尽可能地保持《易经》原文的音调与用词之美,恰当处理《易经》卦爻辞的押韵、拟声、叠音、重复等汉语言特有的表达习惯,生动再现《易经》卦爻辞的简洁用语和象征比喻,让译入语读者能够尽可能地体验到原汁原味的《易经》。

Bian yi 变译(changeability in translation)is a new translation theory and method that has attracted much attention in the field of translation studies in the past two decades.It emphasizes that translation strategies and methods should be changed according to specific circumstances.In the translation of the Yi jing,applying the principle of bian yi 变易 and the method of bian yi 变译 ,we can effectively maintain the beauty of the original tones and words in the target language,properly deal with the translation of the rhyme,onomatopoeia,reduplication and repetition of the hexagram and line statements of the Yi jing.Vivid reproduction of the simplicity and symbolic metaphors of the hexagrams in Yi jing could enable the target language readers to experience the original version of the Yi jing as much as possible.
