The X-findings and Misdiagnostic Analysis of Barton fractures

目的:探讨Barton骨折x线表现及误诊分析。材料与方法:回顾性分析经临床证实的10例误诊Barton骨折的X线表现并对误诊作分析。结果:在10例误诊的Barton骨折中,7例掌侧型误诊为Smith骨折; 3例背侧型误诊成Colles骨折。结论:Barton骨折是桡骨远端关节面掌侧缘或背侧缘的骨折,可继发手和腕部掌侧或背侧半脱位。掌侧Barton骨折等同于骨拆线延伸入桡腕关节的Smith骨折。背侧型Barton骨折与骨折伸入腕关节面的Colles骨折相类似。因此,诊断时应仔细分析其X线表现避免导致误诊。

Purpose: To explore radialogical findings and misdiagnostic analysis of Barton fractures. Materials and Methods: The radiological findings of 10 misdiagnotic cases of Barton fractures by clinical confirmed were analyzed retrospectively. Results: In 10 misdiagnostic Barton fractures the radiological findinds of 7 volar type are equivalent to Smith fracture; the x-ray fidings of 3 dorsal type are similar to Collels fracture. Conclusion: A Barton fracture involves dorsal or volar subluxation of the hand and wrist secondary to a fracture of the dorsal or volar rim of the distal radial articular surface . A volar Barton fracture is equivalent to a Smith fracture that enters the radiocarpal joint. So when diagnognosis,the x-findings should be analyzed carefully,avoid misdiagnosis.
