基于COCA语料库的汉语拼音词语海外传播情况考察

An Investigation into International Communication of Chinese Pinyin Words Based on the COCA Corpus

"汉语拼音词语"是指英语中源自汉语的一类特殊的音译型外来词。基于COCA语料库的考察发现:目前此类词汇的出现频率整体呈上升趋势,涉及的语义类型从早期的物质层面逐渐扩大至经济、文化、科技、制度等领域,各语域中出现频率由高到底依次是学术期刊、小说、报纸、杂志、媒体对话。通过语言学分析发现,一些词语因出现频率较高而获得普通英语词语的身份,不仅具有数、格的变化,还可以经转化、派生等方式衍生新词。最后,从传播渠道、传播方式、书写形式等方面提出了汉语拼音词语海外传播的建议。

"Chinese Pinyin words"are a special group of transliterated foreign words derived from Chinese in English.Based on the COCA corpus,it is found that the frequency of occurrence of such vocabularies is on the rise.The semantic categories have gradually expanded from the early material level to the fields of economy,culture, technology,system,etc.The frequency of occurrence from the highest to the lowest in terms of the register is academic journals,fictions,newspapers,magazines and media dialogues.Linguistic analyses also found that some Chinese Pinyin words are regarded as ordinary English words because of their high frequency of occurrence.These words not only have changes in numbers and formats,but can also produce new words through conversion and derivation.Finally,suggestions about the international communication of Chinese Pinyin words are proposed from the aspects of communication channels,methods and writing forms.
