Progress of Pisa Syndrome in Patients with Parkinson's Disease

比萨综合征是晚期帕金森病(PD)患者较为常见的一种并发症,表现为躯干持续向身体一侧侧弯,常在立位、坐位和行走时加重,仰卧位时减轻或消失。比萨综合征的发病机制仍不清楚,也缺乏有效治疗方法。因其具有较高的致残性,严重影响PD患者的生活质量。文中就PD合并比萨综合征的临床特征、发病机制、诊断和治疗等最新研究进展进行综述。

Pisa syndrome (PS)is a relatively frequent complication of Parkinson's disease (PD), especially in the advanced disease stages.It is a postural deformity defined as a marked lateral trunk flexion which can be aggravated by standing,sitting or walking and alleviated by passive mobilization or supine position.The pathogenesis and mechanism of PS remains unclear now,and its treatment is limited. PS is a disabling and potential reversible symptom which seriously impacts on patients'quality of life.The latest knowledge on the clinical features,pathophysiology,diagnosis,and treatment options of PS in PD were reviewed.
