Throughout our history, my lover of traditional culture, extensive and profound, is a treasure to sending out the bright light, condenses the predecessors’ ethical emotion, life consciousness, spiritual pursuit and aesthetic taste and human feelings, to give us energy and inside information. But the development of furniture design with the rapid development and change of modern society, politics and economy has also been affected by various diversified cultures. So this article attempts from the connotation of traditional culture and the way of performance, in view of the modern furniture design expression, find suitable for China’s traditional culture and modern furniture design development, realize the continuation of cultural inheritance, prompted the modern furniture design can be both functional and the meaning of traditional culture.
