A Simple Nickel(Ⅱ) Catalyst System for the Addition of Arylboronic Acids to Arylaldehydes

发展了一种基于NiC l2(PPh3)2/IPr·HCl催化体系的芳基硼酸和芳香醛进行加成反应制备二芳基甲醇类化合物的新方法,并取得了较好的催化效果。该方法具有简便、易操作等优点,是过渡金属催化制备二芳基甲醇类化合物的一个重要补充。

A facile procedure for the catalytic addition of arylboronic acids to aromatic aldehydes was developed using a simple NiCl2(PPh3)2/IPr·HCl system under mild conditions,providing diaryhncthanols in high yields.This method is simple and easy to handle,which is an important supplement to the preparation of diaryl methanols.
