The Pursuit for Reality: An Interview with Zhang Yang about The Sound Design in Ash Is Purest White

2018年,贾樟柯携《江湖儿女》入围戛纳主竞赛单元,影片延续了其电影一贯的写实风格。该片的录音师张阳为北京电影学院录音系1997届毕业生,自1996年《小武》起,他几乎参与了贾樟柯所有作品的声音制作。在20余年的时间里,他与贾樟柯在艺术创作中形成了默契,在声音创作的理念上也达成了共识,即对真实的追求。

Ash Is Purest White,Jia Zhangke's new film,which continues the realistic style of his films,was nominated for the Palme d'Or in 2018Cannes Film Festival.This film's recording director,Zhang Yang,graduated from the Recording Department of Beijing Film Academy in 1997,has participated in the sound production of almost all Jia Zhangke's films since the The Pickpocket in 1996.In the past 20 years,Zhang Yang and Jia Zhangke have formed a tacit understanding in artistic creation,and reached a consensus on the concept of sound creation, which refers to the pursuit for reality.
