摘要
老奶奶庙遗址第2地点位于老奶奶庙遗址西南约150米处,2014年村民取土过程中发现一犀牛头骨化石,并伴出少量石英质石制品。北京大学考古文博学院与郑州市文物考古研究院于2015年对该地点进行了发掘,发现了数量较多的动物骨骼和少量的石制品,动物骨骼中可鉴定标本以犀牛、马等大型动物为主,石制品以石英为原料,特征上与老奶奶庙遗址第1、第3地点十分类似,应为同一石器工业体系产品,体现了典型的北方石片石器工业的特征。该地点的发掘进一步丰富了对MIS3阶段嵩山东南麓人类活动和空间利用方式的认识。
Locality 2of the Laonainaimiao site was 150m away to the southwest of locality 1.In 2014local inhabitants discovered a rhinoceros skull and some quartz artefacts.The excavation in 2015revealed a fauna complex composed of large-sized animals like rhinoceros,cattle and horse,as well as a lithic assemblage characterized by northern China core-and-flake industry and quartz raw materials.This locality belongs to the same settlement system together with locality 1and 3,which can provide more information to understand the human behaviors and land use pattern during MIS3at the southeastern foot of the Songshan Mountains.
