Research on Huizhou Guild Hall of Malacca before Twentieth Century

马六甲惠州会馆是马来西亚第一间惠州(府属)会馆,也是马来西亚第三间华族会馆,惜于种种原因,目前学界对其研究甚为少见。笔者通过大量史料,梳理马六甲惠州会馆成立的社会背景、创立与会馆功能等相关学术问题,展现马六甲惠州会馆早期的历史。

Huizhou Guild Hall of Malacca was the first Huizhou Guild Hall in Malaysia and the third Chinese Guild Hall in Malaysia.Unfortunately,academic research on it is rarely seen for various reasons. The author combed through a large number of historical materials and the related academic issues for the social background of the establishment and the functions of Huizhou Guild Hall,showing the early history of Huizhou Guild Hall in Malacca.
