在人工智能领域"奇点"概念的含义是指机器的智能全面超过人类的智能。这将是人工智能的发展可能带来的最大挑战,人们对此有种种反应,比较极端的两种是将其看作是人类的福音,或者看作是噩耗。但至少我们可以注意到它在给人类带来许多好处和便利的同时,也带来了警讯。智能的确贯穿于人类发展的历史,也是人在地球上取得支配地位的主要缘由。但是,智能并不是人之为人的全部,人还有一个智慧与意义的世界。而从超级智能产生的过程看,它即便仅凭智能,也有可能突然从人类的驯服工具变为自己的主人,乃至替代人类和改变地球上的生态。我们不能指望在短期内根本改变人性和国家与国际政治的体制,但还是可以期望有一种基于人类命运共同体观念之上的"人类协同政治"。

But at least we can notice while it brings many benefits and conveniences in humans, also brings a big warning. Intelligence is indeed consistent with the history of human development, and it is also the main cause for human dominance on the earth. However, intelligence is not the whole of human beings, but also a world of wisdom and meaning in humans. From the process of super intelligence, it is possible, even by only intelligence,that it may suddenly change from the domesticated tools of human beings into their own masters, and even replace human beings and change the whole earth′ s ecology. Our response cannot be expected to fundamentally change human nature even the national system and international politics in the short term, but it is still possible to expect a "human coordinated politics" based on the community of human destiny.
