"致以"和"施以"都形式动词。"致以"所支配的宾语动词倾向于表示情感态度,数量较少。后者与"加以"意义、用法接近,但使用频率相对较低。因此,它们都属于形式动词的非典型成员。"V以"类形式动词来源于"V+NP_1+以+NP_2"的词汇化,其中"V"都具有[+给予]的语义特征。"V以"得以词汇化的关键在于宾语范围扩大至动词。
"Zhiyf'and "shiyi"should be classified into the category of dummy verbs.The verbal objects of "zhiyi"are restricted to those which express speakers'attitude or emotion rather than behaviour.The meaning and usage of "shiyi"is similar with "jiayi".Compare with"jiayi",the frequency of use of"shiyf'is lower.Therefore,both "zhiy?'and "shiyt"are atypical dummy verbs. "Vyi"is the lexicalization of the construction V+NPI+yi +NP2,V have common semantic feature [+Give].The key of lexicalization of "V yi"is the extension of their objects to verbs.
