According to the requirements of the new curriculum reform,the implementation of quality education should be emphasized in the field of basic education.As a kind ofquality,the cultivation of expression ability is an indispensable and important content in the implementation of quality education.This paper will discuss how teachers in primary schools can help students to build up theirinterest in diaglogue,writing and creation through composition teaching from the aspects of students' physical and mental characteristics,textbook arrangement and specific teaching process,and will concretely illustrate the way to ensure students'learning motivation in the specific process of composition teaching so as to enhance students'expressive ability.
