工具理性与价值理性统一视角下的外语专业教育价值取向与实现路径 被引量:12

An exploration into value orientation of foreign language major education and implementation approaches from the perspective of unification of instrumental rationality and value rationality

摘要 改革开放以来我国外语教育取得了显著成绩,但也显现出很多问题,究其根源主要是由于我国外语教育价值取向的偏离。有鉴于此,本文从马克思·韦伯社会学思想的核心概念工具理性和价值理性出发探讨我国外语专业教育的价值取向,并提出在外语专业教育实践中其价值取向应遵循工具理性和价值理性统一的原则,其实现路径应当:体现工具性和人文性的统一、注重现实需要与长远发展相结合、追求个人发展与社会需求一致。 Foreign language education in China has made great achievements since the reform and opening-up,but it also re- veals some problems which can primarily be ascribed to the deviation of normal value orientation.Given this,the paper em- ploys Max Weber's sociological theory in terms of instrumental rationality and value rationality to explore the value orientation of foreign language major education and proposes that the value orientation of foreign language major education should abide by the unification of instrumental rationality and value rationality,and the implementation approaches are illustrated as follows : specifically,embodying the"unity of instrumentalism and humanism,emphasizing the combination of students'realistic needs and long-term development and achieving the unanimity of students'personal development and social needs.
