摘要
作为建成后世界最大的平方公里阵列射电望远镜(SKA),在各个观测阶段产生的海量数据对网络传输提出了更高的要求。本文讨论了海量数据生成并通过高速国际互联网将数据传输到分布全球的区域数据中心的策略,通过与目前的SKA先导项目MWA和ASKAP、探路者项目LOFAR的合作来探讨SKA1建成后在全球范围内传输和分享数据的应对措施和解决方案。
The Square Kilometre Array (SKA),to be constructed soon,will be the largest radio telescope in the world after completion.The tremendous data volume generated by the SKA yields a lot of serious technique challenges,including the data transferring amongst the geographically distributed regional data centres. The present paper discusses the strategies of data production,and the distribution of the massive data to regional data centres across the world through the high-speed internet.The data transferring method between the planned China SKA data centre in Shanghai and the currently operational SKA precursors andpathfinders,such as the MWA and ASKAP in Australia and LOFAR in the Netherlands,is introduced,and preliminary results are presented.These offer helpful guidance for the application in the first phase of SKA (SKA1)in the near future.
