摘要
在应用物理类专业和电子信息类专业所用的半导体物理、半导体器件物理等教科书中,W.Shockley于1949年提出的p-n结理论一直被作为最重要的基本理论之一广泛沿用至今且广为人们熟知和接受。本文对传统p-n结理论的完备性提出了质疑,指出了其中存在的重要缺陷和对课程教学带来的困惑,尝试利用创新p-n结理论分析或消除课程教学乃至科研实践中的诸多误解。本文提出的质疑和所做的创新是作者教学和科研相互融合的结果,限于篇幅本文只给出了创新理论的概要和主要观点(详情请参阅作者已发表的论文:Europhysics Letters,2017,120(2)28004),并着重阐明创新理论与课程教学的融合及其在课程教学中的意义和作用。
The p-n junction theory proposed by W.Shockley in 1949 has been adopted,widely known and accepted as one of the most important fundamental theories in teaching textbooks for undergraduate students majoring in Applied Physics and Electronic Information.In this paper,the traditional p-n junction theory is questioned regarding to its completeness.The inherent defects and paradoxes are revealed,and a renovated theory is introduced,so to clarify or eliminate ever-existing misunderstandings of the basic theory in teaching or even in scientific research.Questioning and renovating the basic theory is not only a subject of course teaching,but also that of scientific research.In this regard,due to the limited length,this paper briefly introduces the main viewpoints of the innovated theory(for details,please refer to our published paper:Europhysics Letters,2017,120(2),28004),but places the emphasis on clarifying confusions and shows the merits in course teaching.
