顺应论视角下中成药名称英译研究

Study on the Translation of Chinese Traditional Patent Medicine Names from Adaptation Theory

结合不同企业中成药说明书材料,归纳中成药命名特征,从顺应论视角入手,分析中成药名称英译文本中存在的问题,研究中成药名称英译策略。

Although traditional Chinese medicine is developing in a good trend throughout the World,the developing speed has been slowed down by the uneven levels of translators and culture differences.In view of the above,by using adaptation theory,this paper,through cases study on different Patent Medicines,analyzed the existing problems in English translation of product names in Chinese traditional patent medicine,summed up their naming features and studied translation strategies in order to provide references for standard translations of product names of Chinese traditional patent medicine.
