Physicochemical Properties and Application of Beeswax

蜂蜡是由工蜂蜡腺分泌的用于筑巢的复杂有机混合物,主要包含脂类、游离脂肪酸、游离脂肪醇、碳水化合物、水分以及其他活性物质等。蜂蜡的应用历史悠久,作为养蜂业的副产品之一,蜂蜡现已被广泛应用于多个领域,包括医疗工业、农业、化妆品业、养蜂业、手工业等。本文主要综述了蜂蜡的理化性质及应用现状,以期对我国中蜂蜂蜡的研究及应用起到一定的促进作用。

Beeswax is a complex organic mixture that is secreted by the wax glands of the worker bees for nesting. It mainly contains lipids,free fatty acids,free fatty alcohols,carbohydrates,water and other active substances.The application of beeswax has a long history.As one of the by-products of beekeeping industry,beeswax now has been widely used in many fields,including medical industry,agriculture,cosmetics industry,beekeeping industry,handicraft industry, etc.This review focuses on the physicochemical properties and application status of beeswax in order to promote the research and application of Apis cerana cerana beeswax in China.
