摘要
学习动机是大学生学习第二语言的原动力,学习环境是诱发学生学习动机的外部因素。中国和美国由于教育体制不同,为学生提供的学习环境也有所差异;课程设置、教师教学、教学资源的不同,对学生学习动机的诱发程度也不同,导致学生对第二语言学习的态度不同。通过对比,取其精华,去其糟粕,提高我国大学生学习第二语言的动机。
Learning motivation is the driving force for college students on studying a second language,while study environment is the external factor that induces students’ learning motivation. With different educational system,universities in China and America provide different study environment. The differences of curriculum setting,teachers’ teaching and teaching resources in both countries result in different motivations in students who will have different attitude to the second language learning. By comparison,in order to improve our college students’ motivation on studying a second language,we need to learn some essence and remove dross from American education.
