摘要
大学英语缩减课时,删减最大的是读写课课时,如何在课时缩短的情况下保证读写课教学质量和提高学生能力是对大学英语教学一个不小的挑战。以防灾科技学院为例,探究如何在有限的读写课课时里提高学生阅读理解能力和自学能力,以期为大学英语读写课教学提供一个可供借鉴的模式。
The teaching hours of college English class have been cut short in many colleges. The read-write teaching class has been reduced sharply especially. In a such case,it has become a big challenge for teachers to ensure the quality of college English read-write teaching and improve students’ abilities. This paper takes the Institute of Disaster Prevention as an example and probes into a teaching model to improve students’ reading ability and foster their self-study ability within such limited teaching time in order to provide a model for reference for college English reading and writing teaching.
