The teaching of English language knowledge is easy to be ignored by teachers. In teaching,there are some frequent phenomen such as adisjointed language points and text understanding,unclear language teaching goals,and language knowledge divorced from students. This paper discusses the"three closeness"principle in the teaching of language knowledge,and promotes the optimization of the teaching of English language knowledge in order to achieve the"throwing bricks to attract jade"effect.
