言语幽默的双步解读机制研究——以《小棉袄》的言语幽默为例

A Two-Step Interpretive Mechanism of Verbal Humor

言语幽默是言语所具有的让言语接受者感到有趣、好笑或滑稽的特质,主要包含笑因和笑果。根据言语幽默的内涵,其解读机制就应包含两个方面的研究:一是笑因的解读,二是笑果如何生成的解读。前者是听话者将话语进行概念合成,得到层创结构的意义,体现为言语幽默的笑因;后者是听话者通过对笑因与认知语境之间的语义冲突进行认知推理而得到笑果。

Verbal humor is the quality of being amusing or comic and includes a stimulus of laughter and an outburst of laughter.This paper proposes a two-step interpretive mechanism,namely a conceptual blending interpretation of a stimulus of laughter and a cognitive inference interpretation of an outburst of laughter.The former step involves a conceptual blending of what the audience hears to get an emergent structure as the stimulus of laughter in verbal humor.The latter refers to the generation process of the out- burst of laughter,in which the hearer employs his cognitive inference to understand the semantic conflict be- tween the stimulus of laughter and cognitive context.
