论档案学史上的“轴心时代”

Research on the Axis Era in the History of Archival Science

雅斯贝斯提出的“轴心时代”理论界定了人类文明史的发展阶段,轴心时代的辉煌成就是两千多年来人类不竭的思想源泉和精神动力。以“轴心时代”理论审视档案学的发展历程,20世纪五六十年代,那些标志性的、经典的、影响深远的档案学思想和档案学人物对所处时代的档案学发展起到了一种定位与定型之作用,并对后世不同文化传统与发展背景的档案学产生了重要影响,甚至起到了奠基性的作用,这一时期堪称档案学史上的“轴心时代”。“轴心时代”所取得的成果与成就正是档案学后半个世纪乃至未来发展的重要基石,并根植有档案学发展的历史基因,指引着档案学未来发展历程中后续目标的实现。

The Axis Era theory,put forward by Karl Theodor Jaspers,defined the developing phases of the history of human civilization.The brilliant achievements in Axis Era were the sources of thought and spiritual power.Taking the Axis Era theory as inspecting into the history of archival science,it was in the 1950s and 1960s that symbolic,classic and inf luential archival thoughts and archival figures had impact on the archival development and lay the foundations for the development of archival science under different culture tradition and different background.That era was known as the Axis Era in the history of archival science.Achievements made at that time played an important role in the development of archive science,which guided its future development.
