How to Realize the Application Turn for Local Universities:Based on the Comparisons of the Financial Structure between two Universities

"应用型"已经成为地方本科院校实现"弯道超车"的战略目标定位。但是,地方本科院校实现其战略目标的关键因素还是办学经费问题。从地方本科院校与国内一流研究型大学的经费收支结构比较来看,两者已经形成了贫富差距的巨大鸿沟。在推动办学类型多样化的政策指引下,地方本科院校既要以"应用型"作为战略目标,更要以"应用型"作为转型手段,在做好应用型人才培养与应用性成果转化的基础上,将开辟多元经费渠道作为办学第一要务。

"Application"has already become the strategic target orientation of the local universities to achieve the "curve overtaking".However,the key factor for the local universities to achieve their strategic target is the problem of financial problems. From the comparison of the financial structure between the local universities and the first-class research universities in China,they have formed a huge gap between the rich and the poor.On the guidance of policy to diversification of higher education,local universities should take the "application"not only as a strategic goal,but also as a means of transformation,in order to open up multiple channels funds as the first priority basing on the cultivation of applied talents and the transformation of research finding.
