Social Responsibility and its Influencing Factors in the Medical Students

目的:调查医学院校学生社会责任心状况及其影响因素。方法:采用整群随机抽样的方法,对某医学院校1497名学生进行问卷调查。调查问卷包括一般情况调查表、社会责任心问卷、中国大五人格问卷简式版、自我意识量表。结果:医学院校学生社会责任心总分与常模相比无统计学差异(P=0.214),物质责任心和群体责任心相对较高,文化责任心相对较低(P<0.01);医学护理专业学生责任心低于医学社会学专业(P<0.01);回归和路径分析显示社会人口学变量(专业、性别、家庭经济、健康状况)、人格(宜人性、严谨性、开放性、外向性)和自我意识等是影响社会责任心的主要因素,可解释57.2%的变异量,其中人格直接影响社会责任心,社会人口学变量和自我意识经人格间接影响社会责任心。结论:医学院校学生与普通大学生一样具有较强的社会责任心,护理专业学生社会责任心相对较低;人格是社会责任心最主要的直接影响因素,社会人口学变量和自我意识是间接影响因素。

Objective:To investigate the social responsibility status of medical students and its influencing factors. Methods:A total of 1497students from a medical college were surveyed by random sampling method.The questionnaire included the General Information Questionnaire,Social Responsibility Questionnaire,Chinese Big Five Personality Inventory brief version(CBF-PI-B),and Self-awareness Scale.Results:There was no statistical difference on the total score of social responsibility between medical students and the norm(P=-0.214),the material responsibility and group responsibility were relatively higher,and cultural responsibility was relatively lower(P<0.01);Students in medical nursing were less responsible than medical sociology(P<0.01).The regression and path analysis showed that social demography(professional,gender,family economy,healthy),personality(agreeableness,conscientiousness,openness,and extraversion)and self-consciousness were the main influencing factors of social responsibility,which can explain 57.2%of total variation;Among them,personalities directly affect social responsibility;Social demography and self-consciousness indirectly affect social responsibility through personality.Conclusion:Medical students have strong social responsibility as ordinary college students,nursing students are relatively lower on social responsibility,personality is the main influencing direct factor of social responsibility, social demographic variables and self-consciousness are indirectly factors.
