This article focuses on the healing elements in the temples and folk religions of Macao.It collates disease-removing materials in the history of the temples,examines the relationship between some significant medical incidents in the Macao's history and the temples.It then explores the influences of the Macao's folk religions on the illness treatment which is crucial to the people's life and reveals finally the folk culture and the spirits and ideas in such folk religions.
