This paper outlines the conditions of selective protection in marine power system,and studies the selective protection between main generator and the equipment at the following levels,main bus and electrical equipment,power and lighting transformer in marine power system.Combined with the example of ship power system,the selection and setting Of protection devices at all levels are put forward.
