The development status of electric heating was discussed from the aspects of electric heating type,implementation process and policy,and the influence of electric heating on distribution network planning was introduced.The adaptability analysis of electric heating was carried out from the three aspects of technology adaptability,economy adaptability and fitness of environment.At the same time,the open question and corresponding suggestions in practical engineering were given.
