The Tradition and the Current Situation of Multilingual Education in Japan's Higher Education and Its Implications for China

日本高等教育在明治时代便奠定了"一外英语、二外必修"的外语教育课程模式。外语教育在日本社会近代化、现代化、国际化进程中起到了重要作用。本文爬梳了明治维新以来日本高校多语教育的传统和一百多年来经历的数次改革,剖析当下日本高校的多语教育课程实施特色,辅以日本著名高校的多语教育实践案例,以期对我国高校推动多语教育提供启示。

In the Meiji era,Japanese higher education established a model of foreign language education that required both English as the first foreign language and another second foreign language.
